Amira Damji
Amira is a disruptor in the sustainability space, looking to make low embodied carbon, economically viable and socially conscious projects a reality. Stakeholders in the construction industry will soon no longer have to choose between a sustainable and profitable project, as well-thought out design, efficient and motivated teams, responsible procurement and buildable solutions become attractive features of a project brief.
Being chartered with the Institution of Civil and Structural engineers gives Amira a strong technical background and affiliation with the leading innovations and their regulatory compliance. Having led the structural discipline of mixed use developments, containing over 500 homes including an allocation for affordable homes, as well as office spaces, supermarket and public spaces, she understands what holds projects up and what easy wins get missed. She's used that drive and enthusiasm to create something of her own - a consultancy that helps small and medium sized practices access competitive areas of the industry while doing their best to create assets which will stand proudly and responsibly into the future.
