Dr. Amanda Lenhardt is a Lecturer in International Development at King's College London and co-founder of Nyra, a social enterprise connecting individuals and businesses with climate action through partnerships with smallholder farmers in Africa. With over a decade of policy and research experience in the development sector, she has previously held positions at the Overseas Development Institute, Save the Children and SOAS, and has consulted for the World Bank, USAID and the International Rescue Committee. Her research focuses on just transitions, poverty, identity-based discrimination and welfare outcomes in low- and middle-income countries, with fieldwork spanning Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, and Tanzania.
