The UN Global Compact Network UK and Carbon Pricing Pilot Group highlight the growing importance of internal carbon pricing (ICP) as a tool for embedding climate considerations into business decisions. By assigning a monetary value to emissions through shadow pricing or internal fees, companies can drive lower carbon procurement, innovation and supply chain improvements. ICPs also enhance resilience by preparing businesses for evolving regulations and revealing hidden climate risks.

This interactive session will feature presentations, workshop activities and a panel discussion designed to empower participants to take direct action. Attendees will gain practical insights, strengthen the business case for ICP and collaborate with peers, ideally alongside procurement colleagues, to accelerate emissions reduction across supply chains.
