This will be a fast-paced, interactive session exploring a widely recognised challenge: why customers say they want sustainable products and services, but don’t consistently adopt them in practice.

The session will focus on sustainable adoption through the lens of refill and reuse models in consumer products. It will open by reframing the problem - moving beyond awareness and intent to examine why sustainability initiatives often fail to translate into real-world behaviour. It will introduce a small number of practical behavioural principles that help close this gap, grounded in applied experience across areas such as reuse, food waste and circular economy initiatives.

We will close by identifying a small number of simple, actionable interventions that organisations can apply immediately to increase uptake and sustained use of sustainable products and services.
