From Cavemen to Cardboard to Caviar: Climate Comedy, Contradictions, and Systems Thinking for the Real World
Following a lively session at Reset Connect North earlier this year that drew one of the largest hub audiences and sparked strong social engagement across the event, Clare returns with a lively mix of climate poetry, humour, storytelling and lived experience exploring the human side of sustainability.
Blending sharp satire with accessible explanations of complex systems, the session moves through themes including retrofit and buildings, energy, transport, circular economy, behaviour change, carbon accounting, land use and everyday climate contradictions.
Although based within the Energy and Storage Hub, the poems and performances are designed to reflect the wider themes running throughout the conference, connecting technical ideas with real people and the practical realities of change.
Expect heat pumps, long-haul flights, mould, moss, carbon cake, cardboard, caviar and at least a few uncomfortable laughs along the way.
