In this Hub session, we will explore how the Park Royal Net Zero Food Systems programme is driving place‑based decarbonisation and supporting food businesses in their transition to net‑zero supply chains. We will share key learnings and successes from projects focused on reducing food loss and waste, including the adoption of ISO 20001 upcoming international standard, optimisation of refrigerated transport systems, and other innovative approaches to sector‑wide decarbonisation. The panel brings together experts from energy, food supply and waste management, and academic research to discuss the programme’s progress to date and outline the next steps for accelerating sustainability across the UK’s largest industrial food cluster.
