Keynote Panel - Reclaiming Climate Action for Communities
Join Friends of the Earth chief executive, Asad Rehman, in exploring how inequality, climate change and nature loss are deeply interconnected, especially at the local level where their impacts are most immediate. He will highlight how these challenges can be tackled jointly through community-led solutions that prioritise fairness and resilience. He will also examine the worrying trend of rising inequality being used to undermine climate action and how this can be countered by showing that fair, green solutions can improve lives, bring down bills and emissions, reduce disparities and strengthen communities.
