Innovative Funding Support Strengthening Programme for Scale Ups and SMEs

This discussion will highlight how the fully funded, award-winning and nationally recognised Research, Innovate and Emerge (RIEm) Programme of Brunel University of London supports SMEs with the specific requirements and expectations of Innovate UK and other funders, helping you align your project with their priorities. It will elaborate the details, offerings and impact of RIEm Programme and how it helps businesses to access research and innovation funding to advance innovation and establish strategic R&D partnerships. You will hear from  Mettle Capital, how the programme has helped them to validate their innovative solutions, secure Innovate UK and VC investments and fee paying clients.

Since its launch in 2022, RIEm has helped UK SMEs secure around £5 million from Innovate UK, in addition to significant VC funding. RIEm participants have 73% success rate of securing Innovate UK funding as against the 5%-10% average success rate (RIEm independent evaluation, S4W, 2024).
