Smartlayer aims to consolidate non-financial and financial smart home data sets, including usage insights, into a metric called HomeScore that is actionable at the Household level. HomeScore was designed in collaboration with Lloyds Bank, NatWest Bank, and Barclays Lab.
Smartlayer is the ClearScore moment of smart data, quantified into "One-Home-One-Metric". It would enable banks to offer Gen-Z homeowners rewards-based home finance products that reward green tech adoption and adaptation to sustainable ways of life, and reduce our total spend on homes as a category. (Average UK Mortgage customer spend on homes: £3,500 per month).
