Real Assets Resilience Investment: PCRAM Case Studies Showcase, Lessons Learnt From Investors

24 Jun 2025
Fund Managers Hub

Investors that adopted PCRAM have seen improvements in how they integrate physical climate risks into their investment processes, leading to stronger and more resilient management of infrastructure assets.
IIGCC is improving the existing methodology and mainstreaming it within investor practices. PCRAM 2.0 sought to refine and expand the current 4-step process by looking at systems benefits, multi-hazards and insurability and broadening the scope to real estate assets as well as infrastructure. New case studies have been carried out, completed in Spring 2025. These new case studies expanded the existing evidence base both in developed and emerging markets.

In this event, you will hear from investors about carrying out PCRAM case studies. If embedded in investor practices and governance, a systematic adoption of PCRAM by investors as a basis for a sound physical climate risk assessment, that includes options for building real world resilience in assets, could spur a shift to resilient investment.
