Investors that adopted PCRAM have seen improvements in how they integrate physical climate risks into their investment processes, leading to stronger and more resilient management of infrastructure assets.
IIGCC is improving the existing methodology and mainstreaming it within investor practices. PCRAM 2.0 sought to refine and expand the current 4-step process by looking at systems benefits, multi-hazards and insurability and broadening the scope to real estate assets as well as infrastructure. New case studies have been carried out, completed in Spring 2025. These new case studies expanded the existing evidence base both in developed and emerging markets.
