Renewable Energy Association

The Renewable Energy Association (REA) is a not-for-profit trade association founded in 2001 to represent businesses operating across the UK’s renewable energy and clean technology sectors. As the largest body of its kind in the UK, the REA brings together around 400 member organisations working across the energy system, from energy demand, solar to electric vehicles, recycling and much more.
The REA provides a strong voice for industry and works with government and regulators to ensure the sector can grow and deliver the technologies needed for a low-carbon future. It empowers member companies to build commercially and environmentally sustainable businesses by providing the latest policy updates, sector insights, topical briefings and industry-leading training and events.
Through this work, the REA represents the interests of its members and supports the development of renewable energy as part of the UK’s transition to a greener energy system.
