Intelligent Reality

Intelligent Reality is the creator of BlueGlobe, a software Digital Twin for Earth.

 

BlueGlobe provides accessible, actionable, and unified geospatial intelligence to support planning, policymaking, land management and crisis response, across both environmental and commercial domains.

 

It integrates a wide range of datasets — from satellite imagery, surveys, topographic, infrastructure, demographic, behavioural, land use, and environmental sources — into a single geospatial analytic framework. This creates a unified matrix of multi-resolution “honeypots” of coherent, reusable data.

 

By applying both AI and classical analytics, BlueGlobe delivers real-time insights, historical trends, and forecasts. Users can interactively model and explore “what-if” scenarios and visualise past, present, and potential future states, along with their underlying causes.

 

BlueGlobe bridges the gap between global and local understanding of landscapes, supporting evidence-based decision-making in areas such as precision agriculture, ecosystem and habitat health, nature networks, conservation management, carbon accounting, and more. An emerging capability is the ingestion of real-time sensor data to enable live monitoring and early warning of threats such as floods, pollution events, and wildfires.

 

By automating the time-consuming, specialist tasks of data validation and integration, BlueGlobe reduces analysis time from weeks-to-months to seconds-to-hours. It frees up experts to focus on delivering insights rather than managing data workflows and supports the creation of reusable analytic components for future applications. The platform is designed to be accessible to non-experts and to integrate local datasets, ensuring broad relevance and applicability.

 

Developed by a multidisciplinary team in Scotland and Germany, with input from over 150 sector stakeholders, BlueGlobe has already been applied to projects including integrated conservation planning, flood risk analysis, water quality monitoring, rainforest habitat discovery, development impact forecasting, and pandemic outbreak modelling and forecasting.

 

BlueGlobe is now ready to scale. Rapid development of targeted applications is already possible, and we are evolving the platform into a self-service SaaS solution, offering unified data packages and analytic tools.  To date, it has been funded through UKRI grants, R&D contracts, and founder investment. We are now preparing for an investment round to bring BlueGlobe to market at scale.
