Additive Sustainability is a built environment advisory consultancy with a structural engineering specialism. It focuses on early-stage implementation of lean and low-embodied carbon design strategy with built-in circular economy - using reclaimed structural material, designing for deconstruction and optimised reuse of existing structure while thinking about future adaptability. At later stages, Additive can review specifications to optimise the embodied carbon and circularity of your material choices that are achievable and work with you to discuss how to mitigate any uplift in cost of novel and low carbon materials.

Additive addresses the gap of structural knowledge in sustainability discourse, providing quantifiable savings in material usage by designing and procuring in a smarter way. This knowledge is also provided in educational modules, individually catered towards waste collectors, demolition contractors, contractors and designers.
