The Reset Connect Mastermind

A six-month mastermind for sustainability professionals who want to strengthen the human side of sustainability and build more coherent organisations.

When we talk about sustainability, we usually talk about regulations, reporting, emissions, biodiversity, data or the latest implications of the Omnibus package.

Far less attention is given to the people doing the work.

Yet sustainability is ultimately carried forward by people. By those navigating uncertainty, influencing without formal authority, balancing competing priorities and helping organisations move forward, often over many years.

We are feeling the sense of urgency, at the same time, many people in our field are exhausted. Some describe themselves as burnt out. Others have moved beyond burnout into something quieter: a sense of disconnection, reduced motivation or simply functioning without the energy and optimism they once had.

We believe this is one of the most overlooked challenges in sustainability.

If organisations want sustainability strategies to succeed, they need to invest in the people and organisational conditions that make long-term change possible. We see this as one of sustainability's most overlooked KPIs. We often fail to recognise how resilient people, coherent organisations and thoughtful leadership lead to better decisions and more lasting impact.

What to expect

This is a small, confidential group of peers who understand the realities of sustainability work.

Once a month, we step away from the day-to-day demands to think together. Participants bring current challenges from their own organisations, reflect on different perspectives, learn from one another and leave with practical ideas, tools and methods they can apply immediately.

The agenda develops around the questions that matter most to the group, supported by our experience, practical tools and facilitation.

Typical themes include:

  • influencing without formal authority

  • working across organisational silos

  • navigating uncertainty and competing priorities

  • maintaining energy and motivation over the long term

  • engaging colleagues and senior leadership

  • building organisational coherence

  • making thoughtful use of AI in sustainability

Our approach

Over the past years two themes have consistently emerged in our work.

The first is Burn Bright: how can sustainability professionals remain healthy, effective and engaged while carrying the responsibility of long-term change?

The second is Coherence: how can organisations create the structures, relationships and decision-making processes that allow sustainability to become part of everyday business rather than an additional task?

We believe both questions belong together. Strong organisations need people who can sustain their impact. People thrive when the organisations around them create the conditions for meaningful work.

That is how sustainability moves from resilience to results.

Who this is for

This mastermind is designed for experienced sustainability, ESG and transformation professionals who want more than another webinar or networking event.

It is for people who value thoughtful conversations, honest reflection, practical ideas and a trusted group of peers who understand the realities of this work.

Why we are doing this

Together we bring more than three decades of experience across sustainability, environmental law, sustainable finance, international organisations, academia and leadership development.

Over those years, we have worked with organisations of many sizes, across sectors and countries. Again and again, we came back to the same observation: Technical expertise, strong sustainability strategies and clear governance matter, yet they are rarely enough on their own.

Progress depends just as much on the people leading the work and on the organisations that enable them to succeed.

Santa Meyer-Nandi

Santa Meyer-Nandi is an international sustainability strategist, environmental lawyer, keynote speaker and co-founder of FindingSustainia.

For more than fifteen years, she has worked across business, academia, government and international organisations, helping leaders navigate complexity and turn sustainability into meaningful action.

Her work focuses on the human side of sustainability: how people can remain effective, healthy and engaged while leading change in increasingly demanding environments. Through Burn Bright, she combines sustainability, behavioural science and organisational practice to help people create lasting impact without burning out.

Dr. Anna Katharina Meyer

Dr. Anna Katharina Meyer is a sustainability management and sustainable finance expert, researcher and co-founder of FindingSustainia.

She serves on the Presidency of the Club of Rome Germany and has spent many years researching how sustainability becomes embedded in governance, finance and organisational decision-making.

She is the author of Nature as Capital, published by Springer, and co-author, together with Santa, of the forthcoming Springer book Sustainia 2050. The book explores positive visions of the future and practical strategies for turning those visions into reality.

Through the Coherence framework (which will also be part of the agenda for the six-months), Anna helps organisations reduce fragmentation, strengthen collaboration and create the conditions in which sustainability becomes part of everyday business.

Why we facilitate together

Our backgrounds are different, yet highly complementary.

One of us approaches sustainability through people, leadership and organisational behaviour. The other through governance, finance and organisational systems.

We have been working together for 13 years now. Together we combine practice, research and facilitation to create a space where sustainability professionals can think more clearly, learn from one another and strengthen both the human and the organisational side of sustainability.

Join us

We believe sustainability deserves more than better reporting and better data. It deserves people who can thrive while leading change, and organisations that make this work possible.
