From 100+ entries to 36 finalists: climate start-ups go head to head for a place at the Startup World Cup as Reset Connect London’s Pitch & Invest Programme returns
With seven days until doors open, Reset Connect London has confirmed the 36 high-growth ventures that will pitch live at the Pitch & Invest Programme - selected from over 100 start-ups who submitted pitch decks for review by the programme’s panel of investment judges.
The two-day competition is where the UK’s most promising sustainability start-ups compete for investment and the chance to represent the UK on the world stage. Taking place across 23–24 June at Excel London, and sponsored by Dell Technologies, Pegasus Tech Ventures and Startup World Cup, the programme brings market-ready innovators face to face with the investors, corporate ventures and funding partners actively backing climate and net zero solutions.
How the competition worksThe 36 finalists were chosen from a field of more than 100 applicants and drawn into eight sector heats spanning the sustainable and digital transition: Tech & AI, Engineering & Manufacturing, Energy, Urban Regeneration, Corporate Sustainability, Retail, Fashion & FMCG, Food & AgriTech, and Female Founders.
Each heat runs for 55 minutes and gives every venture four minutes to pitch live, followed by a Q&A with two or three expert judges. At the close of each session, the judges crown a sector winner who advances to the Grand Finale.
The heats run throughout day one (23 June) and into the morning of day two, with a keynote from SeedLegals founder and CEO Anthony Rose, The Art of the Pitch, on the first afternoon.
The Grand Finale - winner announced 2:30pm, 24 JuneThe sector winners go head to head in the Pitch & Invest Grand Finale on the Main Stage at 14:30 on Wednesday 24 June, where one national champion will be crowned.
That champion becomes the UK delegate at the Startup World Cup Final in San Francisco this November, joining innovators, tech leaders and venture capitalists from across the globe to compete for a $1 million grand prize.
More than a pitch“The Pitch & Invest Programme is a launchpad to international recognition, credibility and investment,” said Duncan Reid, CEO, Reset Connect “For the founders on stage, this is a direct line to the people who can fund their growth - no cold emails, no gatekeepers. For investors and corporate buyers in the room, it’s an early look at where the most promising climate innovation is heading next.”
Attendees can watch the heats and the Grand Finale free of charge with a Visitor Pass, which also gives access to the wider show floor and networking.
