Rachael is the Education and Policy Director of Speakers for Schools, and author of the recent research report “Making up for Lost Time”. At Speakers for Schools she is responsible for government relationships, partnerships, research, impact and campaigns. She has worked across local and central government and the third sector, in a range of roles all about the power of partnership to achieve change and tackle inequality. She has substantial experience in working with business to address race, gender and age discrimination. For the past five years her career has focussed on how to build the partnerships between schools and colleges, business and civil society that enable young people to succeed. Rachael has experience in research, programme design, campaigns and communications. She has a BA Hons from Durham University in History and Politics, and MSc from the LSE in Gender and Social Policy, and an MSc from Birkbeck in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics.
