Prof Karthik Ramanna
Karthik Ramanna is Professor of Business and Public Policy at the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government and a fellow at St. John’s College. An expert on business-government relations, sustainable capitalism, and corporate reporting and auditing, Professor Ramanna studies how organisations and leaders build trust with stakeholders. Previously, Professor Ramanna taught at the Harvard Business School in both the MBA and senior executive-education programmes.
Professor Ramanna developed E-liability alongside Professor Robert S. Kaplan from Harvard, which won the journal’s 2022 McKinsey Prize for “groundbreaking management thinking, and co-founded the E-liability Institute, a global not-for-profit with a mission to rapidly ramp up adoption of the E-liability method and create an ecosystem for rigorous carbon accounting worldwide.
