Eleanor Andrade May is a 19-year-old student, currently in their first year at Sheffield University. They have been part of Teach the Future since March 2020, organising digital communications surrounding the Climate Education Bill and other recent projects. During COP26, they met with Secretary of State for Education Nadhim Zahawi to discuss the Department for Education’s Climate and Sustainability Draft Strategy. Before volunteering for Teach the Future, they helped shape and feedback on the Devon Climate Emergency Response Carbon Plan, in order to fight the climate crisis on a local scale.
