Alex Shapland-Howes

Alex is the CEO and co-founder of RideTandem, a startup building the next generation of mobility outside big cities. Working in partnership with licensed taxi, minibus and coach companies across the country, RideTandem’s first services are shared shuttles to ensure staff can get to work easily, quickly and affordably without a private car – serving employers like Royal Mail and Primark. Prior to RideTandem, Alex was Managing Director of Future First – a non-profit working to give role models to young people from less advantaged backgrounds, which grew to work with 20% of schools across the UK under his leadership. Alex holds an MBA from the University of Oxford as a recipient of the
Skoll Scholarship for Social Entrepreneurship.
